Empowering Peacebuilders (EP) Fall 2026 Online Series Program

A Peace and Conflict Prevention & Resolution skills development program featuring Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and the Rotary 4-Way Test.

This 6-session online learning series is designed for up to 50 participants, including Rotarians, Rotaractors, Rotary Peace Fellows, Rotary Positive Peace Activators, and invited others.

Tuesdays, October 13 – November 17, 2026
7:45 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. Eastern Time USA
4:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. Pacific Time USA

Program Format

Participants are asked to:

• participate in at least 3 of the 6 real-time online sessions;
• review 6 previously recorded session module videos, estimated at 15–20 minutes each;
• participate in electronic communication updates through a private WhatsApp group;
• engage with fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, Rotary Peace Fellows, and peacebuilders throughout the series.

Real-time sessions will be recorded for participant review if a participant is unable to attend a session live.

Program Objectives

The EP Fall 2026 Online Series is intended to help participants:

• enhance peace and conflict prevention/resolution skills;
• engage in peace initiatives locally and beyond;
• connect with fellow peacebuilders from local to global;
• support Peace Committees and Peacebuilder Club development;
• build self-empowerment and self-responsibility;
• transform triggered reactions into empowered responses.

Series Themes

1. NVC: Speaking Honestly, Without Judgment
   Rotary 4-Way Test: Is it the TRUTH?
2. NVC: Empathy: The Power of Deep Listening
   Rotary 4-Way Test: Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. NVC: Seeking Mutuality, with Respect for All
   Rotary 4-Way Test: Does it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
   Rotary 4-Way Test: Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Enrollment Fee / Gift Economy Model

Enrollment is based on a gift economy model. All are welcome.

The standard value of this detailed 6-session Empowering Peacebuilders Online Series is $250 USD. A special discounted contribution of $150 USD is suggested for the EP Fall 2026 Online Series.

Partial scholarships are available through sponsorship support for those who choose to contribute less than the suggested amount. Donations and EP sponsorships are also welcome.

Donation and sponsorship details will be shared when applicants receive their Empowering Peacebuilders Online Series Acceptance Notice.
